Our Golf club boasts an impressive landscape surrounding the main course, with over 20,000 trees planted more than two decades ago, creating a classic parkland ambience. Most of the time, you can only see the hole you’re currently playing.
The course remains a formidable presence of the Essex golf scene, featuring a combination of 5 par 3’s, 5 par 5’s, and 8 par 4’s, offering opportunities for impressive scores if you’re ready to tackle its unique challenges.

Our packages offer the perfect opportunity to improve your skills amongst our stunning scenery with some healthy competition thrown in for good measure.
Suitable for golfers of all levels, you’ll begin with a warm welcome and hearty breakfast to prep for the day. Then, it’s time to showcase your skills with our 18 holes of challenging golf in the company of your fellow golfers.
The day includes plenty of fun and engaging activities throughout the day, including the longest drive and closest to the pin contests, with prizes from the Professional shop. After golf, relax with a post-game banquet in either our masters dining suite or Pizza on the Green patio to share stories, celebrate winners, and savour delicious food and drinks.

Floodlit Driving Range
Crondon Park’s Driving Range is the ultimate destination for golf enthusiasts looking to refine their swing and elevate their game. Our facility is fully equipped with state-of-the-art mats and targets, catering to golfers of every proficiency level. Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned player, our range is the perfect place to enhance your skills.
Featuring 13 well-lit covered bays and an additional 7 outdoor bays, each with diverse targets, our driving range provides ample practice opportunities. Moreover, we offer a spacious outdoor grass practice area, a putting green with picturesque lake views, and a pitching/chipping green, all designed to offer golfers a realistic experience akin to our Championship Course’s greens.

As Director of Golf, it’s my great pleasure to welcome you to Crondon Park Golf Club, whether you’re exploring our website for the first time or considering joining our membership community.
Set within the beautiful and tranquil Crondon Park estate, our main course is recognised as one of the county’s most formidable layouts, proudly ranked among the Top 20 Courses in Essex. Designed to challenge and inspire golfers of all abilities, our course is maintained to the highest standards, ensuring every round is a memorable one.
Investing in Excellence: We are currently in the midst of an ambitious redevelopment and enhancement programme, setting new benchmarks for course quality in the region:
- Fairway Drainage: Over 30 miles of primary drainage already installed, allowing us to remain open longer than most clubs in the county, even through the wettest winter months.
- Bunker Rebuild & Redesign: Over 50% complete, with project completion targeted for the end of October. Using state-of-the-art construction techniques, our bunkers will remain playable year-round, with a lifespan far exceeding traditional designs.
- Full Irrigation System: A brand-new ring main and pump house are complete, paving the way for a full irrigation system scheduled for completion by March 2026.
When complete, we will be one of the very few clubs in Essex to combine an exceptional course layout with both full drainage and irrigation, ensuring outstanding playing conditions 12 months of the year.
